Carl Bargmann

Carl Friedrich Theodor Bargmann (born February 19, 1854 in Eckwarden , † June 25, 1916 in Oldenburg ) was a lawyer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Bargmann was the son of Diedrich Christian Bargmann (1803-1870) and Anna Catharina geb. Buller (1812-1876). From 1860 to 1867 he attended the community school in Varel and then until 1873 the old grammar school in Oldenburg. Between 1873 and 1876 he studied law at the Universities of Göttingen , Heidelberg and Berlin . In 1877 he was first an auditor at the Supreme Court in Vechta and then from 1878 to 1885 secretary and assistant at the State Ministry of Justice. In 1885 he became a local judge at the Oldenburg District Court and in 1890 a senior magistrate . He was also a member of the Oldenburg city council.

From 1898 to 1907 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Grand Duchy of Oldenburg 1 ( Oldenburg , Eutin , Birkenfeld ) and the Liberal People's Party . For a time he was also councilor of the city of Oldenburg. Bargmann was married to Olga geb. Sit down.
