Carl Esterle

Carl Esterle (* 1818 in Cavalese ( County of Tyrol ); † September 6, 1862 in Novara ( Lombardo-Venetia )) was an Austrian physician and politician .

Esterle graduated from 1835 to 1840 with a degree in medicine at the University of Padua , which he completed with a doctorate. Then he was initially an assistant at the surgical clinic in Padua , from 1844 a doctor in Cavalese. From 1857 to 1859 he was a professor for obstetrics at a midwifery institute near Trento . From 1859 to 1862 he worked as chief surgeon and professor of obstetrics at the Ospedale Maggiore in Novara. At the same time he was provincial sanitary officer ibid. He was an employee of several medical journals.

From September 1, 1848 to May 30, 1849, he was a member of the Frankfurt National Assembly for Mezzolombardo in the German court and later the Nuremberg court . He was also a member of the March Association .
