Heinz Hilmer

Heinz Hilmer (* 1936 in Münster ) is a German architect and co-founder of the architectural office Hilmer & Sattler und Albrecht .

Life

From 1950 Hilmer attended the Catholic boarding school in Gaesdonck near Goch . After graduating from school in 1957, he studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich with Johannes Ludwig , Josef Wiedemann and Franz Hart until 1963 . After completing his studies, Heinz Hilmer was a construction trainee for two years . In 1965 he completed his second state examination. Between 1965 and 1968 Hilmer was an official of the Bavarian State Building Administration . This was followed by ten years in the planning department of Neue Heimat Bayern .

In 1974 Hilmer founded the Hilmer & Sattler architectural office together with Christoph Sattler . He left the management in 2014. The successor offices Hilmer & Sattler and Albrecht and Hilmer Sattler Architekten Ahlers Albrecht emerged from the Hilmer & Sattler office .

Hilmer is a member of the Association of German Architects .
