Carl Friedrich Müller (Germanist)

Carl Friedrich Müller (born July 28, 1844 in Aurich , † April 13, 1911 ) was a German Germanist and author.

Carl Friedrich Theodor Müller attended the Domgymnasium Verden , studied classical philology and German studies in Göttingen from 1862 , was awarded a Dr. phil. doctorate and passed his state examination in 1866 . He was a high school teacher in Flensburg , from 1868 to 1871 in Stade and then a senior teacher at the Kiel School of Academics . In 1888 Müller was appointed professor. It was through Karl Kräpelin that he became interested in Fritz Reuter , whose life and work he has researched and published since then. He published a work edition by Reuters.
