Carl Friedrich Schall , von Schall since 1887 , (born May 26, 1843 in Waldsee ; † February 20, 1911 in Stuttgart ) was a German administrative lawyer and Württemberg civil servant who worked politically as a state councilor and member of the state parliament.

Carl Friedrich Schall was the son of the camera administrator Wilhelm Ludwig Schall (1798–1872) and his wife Sophie Luise Schall b. Pfeilsticker (1811-1852) and had four siblings. He was born with Johanna Friederike Fanny. Seeger (1850–1936) married. The marriage had three children.

Life

Carl Friedrich Schall studied law and political science at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen from 1861 to 1865 . He had been a member of the Roigel fraternity since 1862 , most recently being honorary chairman of the old men’s association. In 1865 and 1866 he passed the state examinations for financial services and was awarded a Dr. oec. publ. PhD . At the beginning of his professional career he was used in various district tax offices and at the tax directorate. In 1872 he moved to the Ministry of Finance, where he became Finance Councilor in 1879. In 1883 he moved to the General Management of the Royal Württemberg State Railways , in 1885 he became Ministerialrat and in 1887 department director of the administration and construction department. On October 15, 1890, he was appointed a State Councilor and a full member of the Privy Council . In the autumn of 1907 he entered the due to poor health retirement . He died of blood poisoning and was buried in the Prague cemetery.

In 1889 Carl Friedrich von Schall was elected to the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament in the Maulbronn constituency, but he resigned the mandate in November 1890 because of his appointment as a real councilor.

On March 30, 1898, he rejoined the state parliament, as he had been appointed a lifelong member of the first chamber. He carried out this mandate until his death.
