Carl Gustav von Löwenhaupt
Carl Gustav von Löwenhaupt ( Swedish: Carl Gustaf Lewenhaupt, greve till Falkenstein , friherre till Reipoltskirchen ; * May 17, 1662 ; † March 25, 1703 in Hamburg ) was General War Commissioner of Electoral Saxony , Royal Polish and Electoral Saxon Privy Councilor and Infantry General .
Count Löwenhaupt was a son of Field Marshal Carl Mauritz Lewenhaupt (1620–1666). He married in 1689 the Countess Amalia Königsmarck (1663-1740) from the gender of those of Königsmarck . Their son Karl Emil (1691–1743) was commander in chief of the Swedish army in the war against Finland and suffered his military defeat in 1743 on the scaffold.
