Carl Johan Lind (born May 25, 1883 in Karlskoga , † February 2, 1965 in Karlstad ) was a Swedish athlete .

The athlete, nicknamed "Massa", had his Olympic premiere at the 1912 Games in Stockholm. There he was fifth in the hammer throw and was eliminated in the discus throw in the qualification. He finished eighth in the two-handed discus throw.

In 1920 in Antwerp he won silver in the hammer throw behind Pat Ryan from the USA and in front of his compatriot Basil Bennett and bronze in the weight throw behind the Americans Pat McDonald and Pat Ryan. In 1924 in Paris he was seventh in the hammer throw, in 1928 in Amsterdam he was eliminated in the same discipline in the preliminary round.

From 1918 to 1924 he was Swedish hammer throw champion seven times in a row. He also won the national title in weight throwing nine times (1918, 1919, 1921-1927) and once in the two-handed discus throw (1910). He was British hammer throw champion four times (1913, 1914, 1921, 1922).
