Carl Marcus Wallenburg

Carl Marcus Wallenburg (* 1973 in Partille , Sweden ) is a German-Swedish logistics scientist. He has been head of the International Logistics Networks department at the Technical University of Berlin since 2009 and has headed the Chair of Business Administration, in particular logistics and service management, at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management , since 2011 .

Life

Wallenburg studied industrial engineering at the University of Karlsruhe and the University of Gothenburg . He was managing director of the Kühne Center for Logistics Management and scientific assistant to Jürgen Weber at WHU in Vallendar . There he supervised a wide range of research and practical projects on the subjects of “service management” and “supply chain controlling”.

Before returning to WHU as a professor, Wallenburg was head of the International Logistics Networks department at the Technical University of Berlin from March 2009 to early 2011 .

He works as a reviewer for well-known international trade journals and received the Best Reviewer Award from the Journal of Supply Chain Management in 2008.
