Carl Martin Ebersberg
Carl Martin Ebersberg (born October 6, 1818 in Biberach an der Riss ; † June 3, 1880 in Graz ) was a German portrait and horse painter who also worked in Austria.
Born the son of a French language teacher, Ebersberg was a student of Johann Baptist Pflug in Biberach , after which he studied from March 15, 1836 at the Royal Academy of Arts in Munich with Carl Theodor von Piloty .
He portrayed a. a. the Duke Alexander Friedrich Wilhelm of Württemberg as well as the Prince Franz von Teck and his wife Mary Adelaide of Cambridge .
From 1863 he worked in Graz and took part in art exhibitions there.
