Carl Raiser

Carl Friedrich Raiser (born September 26, 1872 in Stuttgart ; † September 10, 1954 ibid) was a German lawyer and business lawyer.

Career

Raiser attended a grammar school in Stuttgart and studied law in Tübingen and Berlin from 1890 to 1895 . In 1895 he passed the first and in 1899 the second higher legal state examination. In 1898 he received his doctorate in law in Tübingen. From 1899 he was admitted to the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court as a lawyer. In 1912 he joined the management of Württembergische Feuerversicherungs AG , of which he later became director general. In addition, he was deputy chairman of the supervisory board of Allgemeine Rentenanstalt, Lebens- und Rentenversicherungs AG in Stuttgart and a member of the supervisory board of Union-Rhein Versicherungs AG, Berlinische Feuerversicherungsanstalt and Aachen-Leipziger Versicherungs-Gesellschaft. He was also the deputy chairman of the Reich Association of Private Insurance .

Raiser was a member of the student union Akademische Gesellschaft Stuttgardia Tübingen .

He was the father of Rolf Raiser and Ludwig Raiser .
