Carl Seiz

Carl Seiz (born November 5, 1816 in Wiesloch ; † October 24, 1899 in Konstanz ) was a high school professor and member of the Reichstag .

Life

Seiz studied at the universities of Heidelberg (1833–1837) and Geneva (1838–1839). From 1840 to 1851 he was a professor of mathematics and physics at the lyceum and the high school in Constance. In 1851 he resigned from civil service. From 1864 he was a district school councilor in Constance.

Between 1861 and 1870 he was a member of the 2nd Baden Chamber . From 1871 to 1874 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the National Liberal Party and the Baden 1 constituency ( Überlingen - Pfullendorf - Constance).
