Carl Siegmund Count and Lord von Aufseß (born October 3, 1684 in Neunburg vorm Wald , † September 15, 1745 ibid) was the last count of this count's line and is buried in Neunburg vorm Wald.

Life

According to Biedermann, he was, among other things, lord of the lordships of Winklarn (Upper Palatinate) , Schönsee , Frauenstein and Reichenstein. He was the Bavarian Chamberlain and District Judge in Neunburg vorm Wald, as well as the Electoral Palatinate Chamberlain and Governor in Neunburg vorm Wald. In his first marriage, he was married to Franziska Maria Sophia Amalia Freiin von Guttenberg (* May 26, 1694 - September 2, 1737), a daughter of Johann Erhard Christoph Freiherr von Guttenberg and his wife Anna Maria Freiin Fuchs von Dornheim. They married on November 21, 1711 in Würzburg. From this marriage there were 2 sons and 3 daughters, who all died young and were buried in Neunburg vorm Wald.

In 1740 he married Eva Sophia Freiin von Murach in Neunburg vorm Wald, the daughter of Christoph Gottfried Freiherr von und zu Murach and Maria Cordula von Leuprechtin. Christoph Gottfried was a nurse on Obermurach . Eva Sophia was a canon at the imperial free Reichsstift Obermünster (Regensburg) and survived her husband Carl Siegmund.
