Carl von Wangenheim

Ernst Johann Carl Freiherr von Wangenheim (* July 2, 1860 on the Neu-Lobitz estate near Dramburg , † August 2, 1931 in Bückeburg ) was a German administrative officer.

Life

Carl von Wangenheim studied law at the University of Strasbourg . In 1880 he became a member of the Corps Rhenania Strasbourg . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1887 to 1888 he completed the government traineeship with the government in Szczecin . From 1892 to 1902 he was district administrator of the Diepholz district and from 1902 to 1917 of the Osnabrück district . As District Administrator a. D. he lived in Bückeburg until his death in 1931 .
