Carla Carlsen
Carla Carlsen (born May 2, 1909 in Kiel , † January 16, 1971 in Hamburg ; born Gerda Görner ) was a German soubrette and actress .
Life
She began her stage career as a singer and actress at Dutch theaters. In Berlin she appeared at the cabaret of comedians , also in Dresden . She became popular through her participation in operettas at the Metropol-Theater , then in 1935 at the Komische Oper and from 1936 to 1940 again at the Metropol-Theater.
From 1941 to 1942 she was a member of the ensemble at the Admiralspalast and then at the Renaissance Theater . Recordings were also made from the vocal parts of the soubrette. Carla Carlsen was given prominent roles in six feature films, and she starred alongside Magda Schneider in Happy Journey .
After the war ended, she went on tour, but was forgotten and worked as a saleswoman in a drugstore.
