Carla Tiene (born May 15, 1981 in Rio Claro ) is a former Brazilian tennis player . From 2013 to 2015 she was the team leader of the Brazilian Fed Cup team .

Career

Tiene started playing tennis at the age of six. During her career she won a total of eight singles and 36 doubles titles on the ITF tour . From 1999 to 2004 she took part in the Fed Cup for her country .
