Carles Bosch (* 1952 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish journalist , film director and documentary filmmaker .
Career
Bosch's career in the film business began in 1989 with the television series 30 minutes , for which he worked as a director and which was broadcast on TV3 . In the documentary film Balseros , which he and Josep Maria Domènech directed, he received an Oscar nomination in the category " Best Documentary " at the 2004 Academy Awards . However, the award went to Errol Morris and Michael Williams for their contribution to The Fog of War . He and Domènech also received a Peabody Award , an IDA Award from the International Documentary Association, and a nomination for Best Documentary at Goya 2003 for their work.
After that, other documentaries such as Revolution # 2 and 1 hora i mai més were released.
