Carlo Francesco Gabba

Carlo Francesco Gabba (born April 14, 1838 in Lodi ; died February 19, 1920 in Turin ) was an Italian lawyer and university professor . He was a professor at the University of Pisa . In 1900 he was appointed Senator of the Kingdom of Italy .

In his extensive work Teoria della retroattivita delle leggi on the theory of retroactive laws, he perfected Lassallean theory of acquired rights.

Gabba received numerous honors.
