Carlo Gasparini (* 1895 in Florence , † 1970 in Brussels ) was an Italian diplomat .

On January 19, 1946 he married Gloria Ferrante (born February 27, 1921 in Boston, † April 28, 2013 in Rome)

Career

In 1949 he was Italian Consul in King David Hotel , chargé d'affaires at the Jewish Agency for Israel in Jerusalem . From 1950 to 1951 he was first class delegation secretary in Tel Aviv . In 1958 he was a delegate to the North Atlantic Council in Paris . From 1959 to 1962 he was Deputy Permanent Representative next to the UN Headquarters , Ministre plénipotentiaire and Director of the Italian Information Center in New York, for which he was led by Professor Peter Michael Riccio (1898-1990) from Columbia University for the study of Italian culture in the United States was awarded.
