Carlo James Nash (born September 13, 1973 in Bolton ) is an English football player .

Career

He started his career at the lower class club Clitheroe before moving to Crystal Palace . After that, Nash played for a few years at Stockport County and in 2001 moved to Manchester City .

After Manchester City established itself in the FA Premier League , Nash was sold to Middlesbrough FC . But after only five games for the club in two years, he moved a league lower to Preston North End .

There he set a new club record and kept his box clean 25 times in the 2005/06 season. Preston have conceded fewer goals than defending champions Reading FC this season .

In early 2007, he was loaned to Wigan Athletic for a month . After this time he returned to Preston in accordance with the contract, where he landed on March 8, 2007 on the transfer list. Wigan Athletic then signed him permanently on June 27, 2007 for £ 300,000. In 2008 Nash moved to Everton FC .
