Life

Peña joined CF Pachuca as a teenager and went through its junior division. before he was added to the squad of the Tuzos first division team in 2010 . When he won the first title in Apertura 2013, Peña was one of the most important players in his team, especially in the Liguillas , who scored three goals in the decisive final phase of the championship: two in the semifinals against Santos Laguna (3-1 and 2-2) and the Opening goal in the final first leg against last year's champions América (2-0 and 3-1). In the Liguillas of Clausura 2014 he was successful with one goal each in the games against Deportivo Toluca (semi-finals) and CF Pachuca (final).
