Carlos Aníbal Altamirano Argüello

Carlos Aníbal Altamirano Argüello (born March 13, 1942 in Aloasí ; † September 25, 2015 ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and bishop of Azogues .

Life

Carlos Aníbal Altamirano Argüello was ordained a priest on June 29, 1966 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him titular bishop of Ambia and auxiliary bishop in Quito on January 3, 1994 . The Archbishop of Quito, Antonio José González Zumárraga , donated him episcopal ordination on February 20 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Quito Antonio Arregui Yarza and Luis Enrique Orellana Ricaurte SJ .

On February 14, 2004, he was appointed Bishop of Azogues.
