Carlos Merino González (born March 15, 1980 in Bilbao ) is a Spanish football player on the position of midfielder . After working for several European first and second division clubs, Carlos Merino González has been without a club since the beginning of 2014.
Career
Merino started his professional career in England at Nottingham Forest . After a year he moved back to his home country Spain, where he played for various first and second division clubs until 2010. On January 29, 2011 he signed a contract with the Austrian Bundesliga promoted FC Wacker Innsbruck until the end of the season with the club's option for two more years. In August 2013 he moved to Panthrakikos . Carlos Merino González is currently without a club.
