Carlton Chambers

Carlton Chambers (born June 27, 1975 ) is a retired Canadian sprinter .

In 1994 he won the Commonwealth Games in Victoria with the Canadian team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta , he was eliminated over 200 meters in the run. In the 4 x 100 meter relay, he was part of the Canadian team in the first two rounds, which eventually won the gold medal (Chambers vacated his place in the final because of an injury for Robert Esmie ).

In 1997 he did not get beyond the first round at the World Championships in Athens over 100 meters . Here, too, he contributed to the victory of the Canadian relay with a deployment in the run-up.

Along with the other members of the 1996 gold relay, he was inducted into the Canadian Sports Hall of Fame in 2008.
