Carmen Butta
Carmen Butta (born August 9, 1962 in Milan ) is a German-Italian journalist and director .
Life
Carmen Butta was born in Milan , where she also grew up. At the age of 21 she went to Hamburg to study German . Since 1987 she has been working as a freelance writer, a. a. for GEO, Spiegel , stern , FAZ and SZ-Magazin .
In 1996 she received the 3rd prize of the Joseph Roth Prize for Journalism. In 1997 she was awarded the Egon Erwin Kisch Prize for her work Das Wispern im Palazzo im GEO Special .
