Caroline Eliacheff

Caroline Eliacheff (born June 5, 1947 ) is a French psychoanalyst .

Life

Eliacheff is the daughter of the film producer Anatole Eliacheff and the writer Françoise Giroud . She was married to Robert Hossein and is married to the film producer Marin Karmitz . The marriage comes from Nathanaël Karmitz.

Eliacheff studied medicine, child psychiatry and later psychoanalysis with Jacques Lacan . She is a psychoanalyst, specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry and president of the “La Cause des Bébés” association. She speaks a weekly column on the radio "France Culture".

Since 1987, Eliacheff has been in charge of the infant home in the Paris suburb of Antony as the successor to Françoise Dolto . She is considered the most prominent representative of the Dolto School in Paris.

Eliacheff wrote screenplays for Claude Chabrol ( Beasts , The Flower of Evil , Chabrol's Sweet Poison ).
