Caroline Hamann-Winkelmann (* 4. October 1971 as Caroline Hamann in Munich ) is a German journalist and television presenter .

Life

Caroline Hamann began in 1991 as author of several television productions. She then did a traineeship at ProSieben from 1993 to 1995 . Then she was the presenter of the news at the private television station VOX , where she was awarded a Golden Lion in October 1997 for her work as " Anchorwoman ". Caroline Hamann later presented the news magazine Newsmaker on Sat.1 .

From May 2001 she moderated the information programs on ZDF in alternation with other colleagues . She was there at noon today as well as today - in Germany and was also co-moderator of the heute journal .

On July 22nd, 2002, Caroline Hamann started her work at heute - Nachrichten at 7:00 p.m. as the successor to Claus Seibel , who was retiring. From May 19, 2003 to 2005, she was also the presenter of the show tonight .

She is married to the DPD managing director Boris Winkelmann. The couple has two daughters and lives in Hamburg-Lokstedt .
