Caroline Shannon Miller (born July 16, 1991 in Rockville , Maryland ) is an American football player .
Career
Miller was signed in early 2013 in the college draft for the newly founded NWSL in the second round in tenth place by Washington Spirit . She made her league debut on April 14, 2013 against the Boston Breakers . For Washington, she was used in each of the first seven games of the season before she stopped a stress fracture in her right ankle. Due to this injury, Miller also missed the entire 2014 season and only made two more appearances for the Spirit in May 2015. Shortly thereafter, she dissolved her contract in Washington and subsequently moved to FC Kansas City . Just a few weeks later, Miller joined the Swedish second division club Östersunds DFF .

Miller played for the US youth national teams in the age groups U-16, U-17 and U-20 .
