Carson Pickett (born September 15, 1993 ) is an American soccer player who has been under contract with the Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League since the 2018 season .

Carson Pickett was born without a hand and without a left forearm.

Career

While studying at Florida State University , Pickett played for the Florida State Seminoles university team from 2012 to 2015 . In addition, it ran from 2014 to 2015 for the W-League participants Colorado Rush and Washington Spirit Reserves . With the latter, Pickett won the 2015 W-League championship (without his own appearances in the play-off games). During the NWSL college draft in January 2016 , she was in fourth place in the first round of the Seattle Reign franchise FC selected. Pickett made her NWSL debut on April 17, 2016 in a 2-1 home defeat to Sky Blue FC .

National team

Pickett was part of the United States U-17 squad in 2010. In 2015 she also made two appearances in the U-23 national team.
