Chioma Grace Ubogagu (born September 10, 1992 in London ) is an English - American soccer player who has been under contract with Real Madrid in the Primera División since 2020 .

Career

societies

During her studies at Stanford University , Ubogagu played for the Stanford Cardinal team there from 2011 to 2014 . At the same time, she played sporadically in 2013 with the W-League participant Pali Blues , with whom she won the championship at the end of the season. In the college draft for the 2015 season of NWSL, she was committed in the fourth round at position 28 by the Sky Blue FC franchise , but moved to the English first division club Arsenal LFC before the season started . She returned to the United States prior to the 2016 season and joined the Houston Dash before moving to league rivals Orlando Pride for the 2017 season.

National team

With the U-20 national team of the United States, Ubogagu took part in the CONCACAF U-20 Championship 2012 and the U-20 World Championship 2012 and was able to win both tournaments. In 2014 and 2015 she was in the US squad at the six-nation tournament in La Manga and played all three games. On October 31, 2017, she was nominated for the first time for the US women's national team for two games against Canada, but was not used. After that it was not considered again.

On October 30, 2018, she was nominated for the first time for the English national football team . In the 3-0 win against Austria on November 8, 2018, she was in the starting line-up and scored the opening goal with her first international goal in the 26th minute, but was replaced in the 59th minute.
