Kristen Nicole Edmonds (born May 22, 1987 in Metuchen , New Jersey ) is an American soccer player who has been playing for NWSL participant Orlando Pride since the 2016 season .
Career
societies
Edmonds began her career in 2005 with the W-League participant New Jersey Wildcats , to whose championship she contributed two goals in four games. After completing her studies at Rutgers University in 2009, she moved to the Hudson Valley Quickstrike Lady Blues and two years later to the Icelandic first division club UMF Stjarnan , with whom she won the championship in the Pepsideild kvenna . After a brief return to the New Jersey Wildcats in the summer of 2012, Edmonds joined the Russian first division and Champions League participant FK Rossijanka at the beginning of 2013 , for whom she also played in the first half of the 2013/14 season. At the beginning of 2014 she moved back to the USA to join the Western New York Flash .
National team
At the end of October 2016, Edmonds was appointed to the US senior team for the first time, but was not used in either friendly against Romania .
