Caspar Friedrich von Buddenbrock

Caspar Friedrich von Buddenbrock († December 11, 1737 ) was a Livonian land marshal .

Caspar Friedrich von Budde Brock was a member of the noble family of Budde Brock . His father was the royal Swedish lieutenant colonel, Livonian district administrator and Wendenscher head churchman, Heinrich Gotthard von Buddenbrock (* 1648, † 1727), heir to Essenhof , Fehren, Kaipen, Öselshof and Lindenhof in Livonia, his mother was Charlotte von Cronmann , his brother Henrik Magnus Buddenbrock .

He was initially in the Dutch military service with the rank of captain. Later he owned the Fehren estate from his father's inheritance and was Arrendator at Groß Jungfernhof in Livonia. From 1733 until his death he was the Livonian land marshal and from 1733 president of the senior consistory and member of the matriculation commission. In the latter function, he had particular influence on the preparation of the registers of the Livonian knighthood .

In 1703 he married Maria Elisabeth Seifferten († 1733), daughter of the Dutch lieutenant colonel Hans Christian Seifferten and Christina Appelbom. The marriage had four children:

  • Friedrich Heinrich von Buddenbrock (* 1704; † 1747), lieutenant
  • Ottiliana Charlotte von Buddenbrock (* 1705; † 1735), ⚭ 1725 Freiherr Gotthard Magnus von Budberg , Lord on Fehren († 1743)
  • Carl Eberhard von Buddenbrock (* 1706; † 1779), ⚭ 1738 Euphrosine Emerentia von Feilitzen
  • Maria Christina von Buddenbrock, ⚭ 1749 Jacob Andreae, pastor in Lennewarden († 1775)
