The Castillo Point is an icy headland on the Ruppert coast of the west Antarctic Marie-Byrd-Land . It marks the eastern flank of the mouth of the Land Glacier in Land Bay .
The United States Geological Survey mapped them based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy in the years from 1959 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names in 1972 named the headland by Rudy Castillo, AeroGraph the US Navy and participants in the Operation Deep Freeze of 1968 and 1969, when he was part of the team at the Hallett station .
