geography
The Castner Glacier lies on the southern flank of the Delta Range , an eastern section of the Alaska range. The glacier begins on the northwest flank of the White Princess , flows in a northwest, then southwest direction and flows about 43 km northwest of Paxson into the Castner Creek , a 3 km long tributary of the Delta River . The Richardson Highway crosses Castner Creek about 1.5 km below the glacier crest of the Castner Glacier. Immediately to the south, the rock and Canwell glaciers also end in the river valley of the Delta River.
