Catriona Bisset (born March 1, 1994 ) is an Australian middle-distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter run .

Athletic career

Catriona Bisset gained her first international experience at the IAAF World Relays 2019 in Yokohama , where she finished second in the mixed 4 x 400 meter relay in 3: 37.61 minutes. Then she won over 800 meters at the Oceania Championships in Townsville in 2: 02.16 min. She also won the Summer Universiade shortly afterwards in Naples in 2: 01.20 minutes. At the Diamond League meeting in London, she improved Charlene Rendina's 43-year-old Australian record and qualified for the World Championships in Dohain September, in which she finished with 2: 05.53 min in the first round .

In 2019, Bisset became Australian champion in the 800-meter run and the 4-by-400-meter relay.
