history
The football department of the sports club Associazione Sportiva Ginnastica Fanfulla 1874 , which was founded in 1874, was created in 1908. The newly founded club initially used a sports field in Lodi , a town with almost forty thousand inhabitants in Lombardy in northern Italy, as the stadium . Eight years after the club was founded, construction began on the Dossenina stadium, which was completed in 1920 and which at the time of construction could hold 7,500 spectators. Over the years, the capacity has been reduced, so that now only around 2,200 spectators are allowed to visit the sports facility for a game.
