Cecil Elaine Eustace Smith (born September 14, 1908 in Toronto ; † 1997 ) was a Canadian figure skater who started in single and pair skating .

Cecil Smith was Canadian champion in women's figure skating in 1925 and 1926. She was vice-champion five times, mostly losing to her toughest competitor Constance Wilson-Samuel . Smith only took part in one world championship , namely in New York in 1930 , where she immediately became vice world champion behind Sonja Henie and ahead of the American champion Maribel Vinson . This marked the first medal win for Canada at a world figure skating championship. Smith was also the first woman to represent Canada at the Winter Olympics in Chamonix in 1924 . She was 15 years old at the time and finished sixth in the singles competition and seventh in the couples competition with Melville Rogers . In 1928 in St. Moritz she played her second and last Olympic Games and finished fifth.
