Wendy Elizabeth Griner (born April 16, 1944 in Hamilton , Ontario ) is a former Canadian figure skater who started in a single run .
The Canadian champion from 1960 to 1963 took part in four world championships from 1960 to 1964 . She won her only medal at the 1962 World Championships in Prague when she was runner-up behind the Dutch Sjoukje Dijkstra . She played two Olympic Games , in 1960 in Squaw Valley she was the youngest female athlete in the Games, twelfth and in 1964 in Innsbruck tenth.
