Cecilio Caminha Freitas (born May 11, 1973 in Lospalos , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor .

Freitas has a degree in international human rights. From 2007 to 2012 he was a member of the East Timorese National Parliament for the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT). He was a member of the Commission on Economy, Finance and Anti-Corruption (Commission C).

Since July 30, 2015, Freitas was chairman of the party alliance Bloku Unidade Popular (BUP). It was an electoral alliance of five parties that failed in the 2012 parliamentary elections because of the three percent hurdle. In 2018, the BUP was incorporated into the Forum Demokrátiku Nasionál (FDN).
