Ceferino Garcia (* 26. August 1906 in Naval , Biliran ; † 1. January 1981 in San Diego , California , United States ) was a Filipino boxer in the middleweight division .

Life

A native of the Philippines Garcia, who was born according to other data already around 1903, began his career as a boxer in 1923 first in the welterweight and won on October 2, 1939 World Champion title NYSAC middleweight the International Boxing Union in a battle against Fred Apostoli in New York City he was in the seventh round by a knockout .
