The next year she took part in the 2002 Junior World Championship in Casies , where she was twelfth, as well as the 2002 European Championship in Frantschach-Sankt Gertraud , where she reached eleventh place at the same time as the Italian Renate Kasslatter . After she had already achieved good results in the Intercontinental Cup, Braun started the World Cup for the first time on December 22, 2002 . In this parallel competition in Fiè , she took twelfth place; in the 2002/2003 season this was her only World Cup start.

Anna Braun achieved great success at the 2004 Junior World Championships in Kindberg , when she won the bronze medal behind the Italians Sandra Lanthaler and Barbara Abart . A week later she finished 16th at the 2004 European Championships in Hüttau . Then she started again in the World Cup in the last two races of the 2003/2004 season . She finished eighth in the parallel competition in Triesenberg and twelfth in the final race in Aurach .

In the next winter , Braun started in three of the six world cup races. She was twice twelfth and once eleventh and thus sixteenth in the overall World Cup. In the 2005/2006 season she competed in her last two World Cup races, where she achieved her best career result with seventh place in Kindberg . In the overall World Cup she was again sixteenth. Her last major competition in natural tobogganing was the 2006 European Championship in Umhausen , which she finished in eleventh place. Then she started in a race in the Intercontinental Cup before she only took part in roller luge competitions.

Anna Braun had also been successful in roller tobogganing throughout her natural track career. She first achieved numerous victories in the Austrian Roller Luge Cup, an international series of roller luge races held in Austria, in the junior class, won the overall ranking in the junior class in 2003 and became Austrian Youth Champion in the same year. Later she also celebrated numerous race and overall victories in the general women's class. In 2007 and 2008, with three wins, a second and a third place, she won the overall ranking of the Austrian Roller Luge Cup ahead of Marlies Wagner . In 2009 she won the overall standings for the third time in a row with four wins, a second and a third place, this time ahead of Tina Unterberger .
