Cerro Campanario is a mountain peak in the canton of Camacho in the municipality of Padcaya in the province of Aniceto Arce in the southern part of the South American Andean state of Bolivia .

The Cerro Campanario is the highest peak in the Cordillera de Sama , the southernmost mountain range of the Cordillera Central in Bolivia , with an altitude of 4682  m . It is located in the southwestern part of the Cordillera de Sama, in the west the Pampa de Tajzara joins the ridge with the lakes Laguna Grande and Laguna Tajzara . The mountain is located in the Tarija Department , twenty-five kilometers north of the border with Argentina and forty-five kilometers southwest of Tarija , the capital of the department. The closest notable town at a distance of nine kilometers in a north-westerly direction is Copacabana with 49 inhabitants (2012 census) in the canton of Copacabana , three kilometers south of the Laguna Grande.
