Chandler Hunt (born November 4, 1998 ) is an American snowboarder . He starts in the freestyle disciplines .

Career

Hunt has been participating in FIS competitions and the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour since 2011 . He won his first victory in slopestyle at the South America Rookie Fest in Valle Nevado in August 2013 . At the 2015 Snowboard World Championships on Kreischberg , he finished 46th in Big Air and 30th in Slopestyle. He made his debut in the Snowboard World Cup in February 2015 in Park City , which he finished in 37th place in slopestyle. That same month he finished third in slopestyle on the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth . In the 2015/16 season he won the bronze medal in slopestyle at the 2016 Junior World Championships on the Alpe di Siusi and won the slopestyle at the US Revolution Tour in Winter Park and at the Zillertal Valley Ralley on the Hintertux Glacier . At the 2016 Snowboard World Championships in Yabuli , he took 27th place in slopestyle. In February 2017, he came second in the slopestyle on the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth. After finishing 31st in slopestyle at the Winter Games New Zealand and at the same time World Cup in Cardrona at the beginning of the 2017/18 season, he achieved his first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in Big Air at the World Cup in Copper Mountain .
