Chang Chung-jen
Chang Chung-jen (born June 11, 1919 in Sichuan ; † after 1972) was a Chinese diplomat .

education
Career
In 1949 he joined the Foreign Service of Taiwan and was chief secretary in the Foreign Ministry in Taipei until 1950. He was then employed from 1950 to 1952 in the Ministry of Culture (Taiwan). From 1952 to 1955 he was Deputy Chief of Protocol in the Foreign Ministry. From 1955 to 1959 he was a member of the Legation Council in Ankara , after which he was a member of the Legation Council of Rio de Janeiro for three years . From 1952 to 1955 he was Deputy Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In November 1964 a Taiwanese consulate was opened in Kuala Lumpur , which was upgraded to a consulate general in 1969, and in 1974, after the establishment of diplomatic relations between the governments in Kuala Lumpur and Beijing , it was redesignated as a center of trade and tourism in the Far East. From August 1969 to July 1972 Chang Exequatur served as consul general in Kuala Lumpur and was also ambassador to Malé .
