Chaos! comics

Chaos! Comics was an American comic book publisher founded in 1992 and published between 1993 and 2002.

Overview

Chaos! Comics was the editor of numerous comic series such as Lady Death , Purgatori , Evil Ernie , Chastity , Jade , Omen , Bad Kitty , Cremator , Lady Demon and Smiley The Psychotic Button . The publisher also published the licensed comics of World Wrestling Entertainment and various bands.

In 2002, Chaos! Comics bankruptcy and all rights to the characters (except Lady Death) were sold to comic book dealer Tales of Wonder . The rights to Lady Death were made before the bankruptcy of Chaos! Comics sold to CrossGen , from there to Brian Pulido & Avatar Press .
Chaos! Comics Germany (which belonged to mg / publishing / Modern Graphics , ultimately Infinity Verlag ) published from 1998 to 2005.
Tales of Wonder later approved Devil's Due Publishing (DDP) the use of the Chaos characters, these became an essential product of DDP. Under this agreement, Chaos! Comics, a new monthly series from Purgatori and a limited series from Evil Ernie, along with a Chastity book that was scheduled for publication at a later date. However, DDP abandoned these plans due to low sales of these series and the Chaos characters fell into oblivion. The Chaos brand ! Comics is now owned by Dynamite Entertainment .

Doomsday

Doomsday was a Thrash Metal album released once by the company in 1995 . A trio (of the same name) - originally from Van Nuys, California , but relocated to Phoenix (Arizona) between 1995 and 1997 - plays energetic, bass-heavy, hard Thrash Metal . The CD was sold in limited editions to promote the Lady Death and Evil Ernie comics. The album cover shows Evil Ernie under the Doomsday logo. The trio performed at DragonCon '97, but had no commercial success beyond that. Doomsday also performed at ChillerCon, NJ in 1997 with Scream queen Tiffany Shepis co-starring, who was sacrificed as a virgin as part of the stage show.
