The Chaplin Peak is a 1978 m high mountain peak in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It rises on the west side of the Bender Glacier 8 km southwest of Mount Craddock in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 2006 after the US geologist Stephen Neville Chaplin, participant in the Omega High Antarctic GPS Expedition in 2005, during which GPS measurements were carried out at various peaks in the Sentinel Range.
