The Chapursan is a right tributary of the Hunza in the Pakistani special territory of Gilgit-Baltistan .

The chapursan is fed by the Koz Yaz glacier . It flows through the river valley of the same name in an easterly direction. The Yashkuk-Yaz Glacier and the Lupghar Nala River flow into the Chapursan on the right. The upper Chapursan valley forms the dividing line between the Hindu Kush mountains in the north and the Karakoram in the south. The Chapursan flows into the Hunza after 60 km .
