Charles Brenner
Charles Brenner (born November 18, 1913 in Boston , Massachusetts , † May 19, 2008 ) was an American psychiatrist and psychoanalyst .
Brenner studied medicine at Harvard University and was trained as a psychoanalyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute , and later also at the New York Psychoanalytic Institute . He taught at Yale University and published numerous papers. Its main features called Introduction to psychoanalysis, Alexander Mitscherlich as an "introduction to the theoretical building of psychoanalysis designated by praiseworthy didactic clarity and accuracy" heard now one of the standard works.
