Charles Lemming

Charles Lemming (* 1966 in Mannheim ) is a German actor and singer.

Career

Charles Lemming was born in Mannheim. After graduating from school, Lemming was a professional musician a. a. with his band "Charles Lemming and the Heart Attack" with which he released his first record in 1990: "Nightserenade" . In 1992, in addition to attending the "Theaterprojekt Ludwigshafen" drama school for a year, he had his first roles as a small actor at the Mannheim National Theater and at the Schwetzingen Festival . The following year he moved to Berlin to begin training as a state-recognized actor at the Theaterwerkstatt Charlottenburg . During this time there were first appearances at the theater such as the Renaissance Theater with Open We Horizons or The Marriage Proposal at the Talent Booth Berlin. Lemming also had first roles on television during this time, such as Ein stark Team , Frankie, or Sara America . This was followed by a permanent engagement at the Neue Bühne Senftenberg from 1997 to 2000, where he played in various pieces such as Der Hauptmann von Köpenick , The Rocky Horror Show , Im Weissen Rössl , The Black Rider or Nathan the Wise . He was engaged at the Altenburg-Gera Theater until 2002, where he played in plays such as Odysseus, Egmont or As You Like It . Since then, Charles Lemming has been working as a freelancer and has guest engagements at the theaters in Aachen , Badische Landesbühne , Theater für Niedersachsen , Tourneetheater Comedia Saxonia, Kleines Theater am Südwestkorso Berlin, the Störtebeker Festival (since 2005), and the Atze-Musiktheater . But he can also be seen on television from time to time, and played in films such as The Life of Friedrich Schiller , Five Stars , Wer rettet Dina Foxx? , Ku`damm 56 , Always Forward , or Skylines

Charles Lemming lives in Berlin.
