Charles Louis des Graz
Sir Charles Louis of the Graz KCMG (March 2, 1860 , † 1940 ) was a British diplomat .
Life
Charles Louis des Graz studied at Harrow, and received a Bachelor's degree from Trinity College , Cambridge. Charles Louis des Graz entered the foreign service in 1884. He was employed in Constantinople .
In 1888 he was delegation secretary in Athens and temporarily business agent. He was employed in The Hague from 1891 to 1894. From 1894 to 1901 he was employed in Saint Petersburg . From 1901 to 1903 he was secretary of legation in Tehran , where he 1902 financial support was. 1905 was counselor in Rome . In 1906 he was chargé d'affaires in Cetinje . Charles Louis des Graz was from 1908 to 1913 Consul General in Callao , Peru and also accredited to the government of Ecuador. Charles Louis des Graz was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Ministre plénipotentiaire for Belgrade in Serbia on October 1, 1913 , and held this office until 1919 during the First World War .
