Charles M. Wilborn

Charles M. "Chuck" Wilborn (born before 1967) is a sound engineer .

Life

Wilborn began his career in the late 1960s and made his feature film debut with Burt Kennedy's Western Mordbrenner von Arkansas , where he worked as a sound assistant on the boom without being named in the credits . While his main focus was on film, he also worked occasionally for television. Here he worked on the sitcom The Bill Cosby Show and the crime series Bronk and The Ninja Master, among others . 1991 he was on Days of Thunder , together with Donald O. Mitchell , Rick Kline and Kevin O'Connell for the Oscar in the category Best Sound nominated, but the award went this year to Kevin Costner's Western Dances with Wolves .

Wilborn retired from the film business in 2002 and received the Cinema Audio Society's Career Achievement Award for his life's work the following year .
